On this Opening and Affirming Sunday of the United Church of Christ, Rev. Dr. Celestine Fields reflects on what it means to stand firm in your faith, living by the Spirit, and having just actions in the community and the world in her sermon, “Free to Learn, to Love, and to Act.” Shanti Moorjani and the ACC Bell Choir bring us this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections by R. Vaughan Williams, William Croft, Andre Campra, and an Irish Traditional arranged by Sandra Eithun. Linda Jones will light the Candle for Ukraine and read Gathering Words and scripture from Galatians 5:1, 13-25, New Revised Standard Version.
