On this Just Peace Sunday we continue our celebration of the Season of Creation, a worldwide ecumenical celebration of prayer and action to protect our common home. Inspired by the challenge of James 3 and Robin Wall Kimmerer’s Braiding Sweetgrass, we will consider the importance of our words, the source of our wisdom, and the things that make for peace. Rev. Jen Chapman will preach and lead the service. The ACC Ensemble, led by Tim K. Murphy, will provide special music.
Following worship, join us in the Fireside Room for a showing of the “Letter: A Message for our Earth,” hosted by the Board of Mission and Social Justice. Special snacks will be provided!
