Following worship on Sept. 15, the Board of Mission and Social Justice will show “The Letter: A Message for our Earth,” a 2022 documentary film telling the story of the Laudato Si' encyclical by Pope Francis. An “encyclical letter” is a short book that popes write. This letter, called “Laudato Si’” encourages us to see how “everything is connected.” The way we treat the Earth, our common home, is a reflection of how we treat each other. Caring for each other means caring for the home we share.
