On this Racial Justice Sunday we'll look at the story of Jesus' transfiguration in Mark 9:2-9. As amazing as this experience was for Peter, James, and John, they followed Jesus back down the mountain into places of suffering and discomfort. How can moments of epiphany, awe, and revelation renew our strength for the work of racial justice in our communities and our world? Tim K. Murphy will lead us through this week’s Hymns & Traditional Spirituals for this week’s Prelude & Postlude . Music Director, Jeffrey Frederic Paul, will lead the ACC Choir & Bell Choir for this week’s Special Music & Offertory. Dea Harrell will be this week’s liturgist & light the Prayer Candles.
