  • The New Parkway Theater 474 24th Street Oakland, CA, 94612 United States (map)

The ACC Board of Missions and Social Justice is encouraging church members to attend a benefit screening of “A Rising Tide: A Look at Homelessness in Alameda County, CA” at the New Parkway Theater. Sunday, August 6, from 12:30-2:30.

It's a powerful documentary by filmmaker Cheryl Fabio, that updates the narrative about the potential avalanche of houselessness, as it demonstrates that the homeless crisis is solvable. Each of us can act toward the end of homelessness in Alameda County and across the nation.

Tickets can be purchased at Eventbrite by CLICKING HERE.

If you plan to attend, contact Dudley Thompson. He will try to arrange travel together as parking in the neighborhood is somewhat limited.
