Rev. Jen Chapman will lead her first Sunday at ACC after spending the last week in Indianapolis attending General Synod. The theme for this year's Synod was "Making All Things New", and she found herself encouraged and challenged by the many ways God's newness is being embodied by our national church. This Sunday we'll heed the words of Revelation 21, looking to see how God is making all things new and listening to how God may be calling us to bear witness. Tim K. Murphy will lead us through this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections from John Barry & George Harrison. Russell Baker will perform this week’s Special Music and Offertory performing “My Shepherd is the Living God” & “Simple Gifts” singing and accompanying himself on the banjo. Sara Laferte will light the candles for Ukraine and for those suffering from gun violence, as well as read Gathering Words & Scripture from Revelation 21:1-6, NRSVUE (modified for gender neutrality).
