This week’s sermon, “Given to Serve Others,” is the final in a series of sermons based on Henri Nouwen’s book “Life of the Beloved.” We are chosen, blessed and broken to be given not only in life, but in death. As we serve others with growing love, great joy will be ours. Tim K Murphy leads us through this week’s hymns and diverse music selections from Astor Piazzolla, Harold Adamson, and Burton Lane. Music Director candidate, Jeffrey Paul, leads the ACC Choir & Bell Choir for this week’s Special Music & Offertory. Dudley Thompson will light the candles for Ukraine, Syria, and Turkey as well a read Gathering Words & Scripture from Matthew 7: 1-12, New Revised Standard Version.
