Rev. Dr. Margaret Z. Kornfeld

July 30, 1936 – January 29, 2023

Margaret Z. Kornfeld, a member of Arlington Community Church, died peacefully on Sunday afternoon, January 29, 2023. She had spent the last 6 ½ years at Mercy Care Center recovering from a very serious automobile accident.

Margaret always brought her many gifts of ministry, social justice and pastoral counseling to everything she did, both at ACC and in many other venues throughout her long career. Larry Kornfeld, her husband of 59 years, still resides at Mercy Care Center and remains a member of our Arlington Community Church family. A service of remembrance, celebration, and release will be held at ACC on Friday, February 24th at 1:30 pm.

Parking for Margaret Kornfeld’s Memorial Service

 Dear church family, we think that there will be more people needing disabled parking than we have spaces.  We are asking that if you are able, please park in the parking lot across the street and CAREFULLY walk across the street.  There will be someone at the loading zone in front of the church, as well as someone near the crosswalk for those in needing to enter through the accessible walkway.    This will allow those who absolutely need to park near the church to do so.  Thank you for your understanding.
