The Annual Congregational meeting for the year 2022, will be held on Sunday, January 22nd 2023 at 11:00 am, directly following the 10:00 Worship Service.
The purpose of the meeting will be:
1. Approval of the minutes of Congregational Meetings held during 2022.
2. Electing the Church Council Members.
3. Board of Endowment Trustees will be nominated.
4. Approval of the 2023 ACC Budget

Nominations will also be accepted from the floor for Council Members.

Voting During Annual Congregational Meeting
Our Annual Meeting next week will allow those present “in person” and those present on Zoom to vote. Voting will be on candidates for positions on the governing Council, and on the Budget for 2023. When we’ve voted on these items with all attendees in-person, we’ve usually voted with vocal “I” votes on yes, no, and abstentions, or we’ve used raising hands. We only use secret ballot for special votes such as calling a minister.
Therefore, we’ll use raised hands for this “hybrid” meeting. Those attending via Zoom will be visible to the congregation on a screen, and they will see the congregation through the laptop camera set up in the front of the sanctuary. If a person on Zoom wants to speak or has a question, they can speak. Pastor Celeste will be monitoring the Zoom group in case there are any issues with the Zoom group being heard. The goal is to have all congregational members participate fully in the meeting.
