Did you and your childhood family have any Christmas traditions? Any that you’ve brought with you into adulthood? In my childhood home, there was always a very, very old ugly ornament that was preserved year after year. All I know about it was that it was important to my mother. When the tree came down, this ‘thing’ was carefully rewrapped in old newspaper and put in with other tree ornaments. I now think of that ornament as a “visible memory” for my mom. How about you? Any treasured memories or traditions to share?
