Pt. Pinole is our destination for 2nd Thursday April nature walk.  If you haven’t experienced this lovely East Bay Regional Park, you are in for a treat.  Particulars: 

• Meet at 10am in the picnic area adjacent to the parking lot

• NOTE:  USE THE ATLAS ROAD entrance.  If your Google map tries to take you to the park via the Great Highway, make appropriate changes.  Yes, that is the old entrance, yes, there is a parking lot there, and it is WAY far from the Atlas Road entrance.

• Masks required, social distance good, too.  Bring your own water.  Some restrooms open, but you’ll need to walk about a mile to get to them.

• No fees charged for parking during week days.

• Prior sign ups required, so…let us know if you want to come.

• Walk is level, mostly wide paths.  Nice Bay views, lots of shade.

• Let Ruth know if you wish specific directions.
