You know that funny expression: ‘when I was a kid, I had to walk 3 miles to school through snow uphill both ways’. We chuckle, but I’m betting each of us has a winter story from our childhood that is definitely worth sharing. Could be about snow or maybe you come from a place where it didn’t snow in the winter; maybe you have a cozy memory of hot chocolate and staying inside; maybe it was an unpleasant trial by inclement weather. I note that Valentine’s Day is this month, and maybe your winter memory includes that special day.
Here is your writing or discussing prompt: tell us about a time in the winter…
Join us on Monday, Feb. 15, 10-11am on Zoom. Let Ruth know if you want to participate in the memoir group, whether by writing, telling us a memory or just to listen in. Ruth will send you the Zoom link.
