Rev. Julie Stokstad leads worship and provides a closer look at the familiar parable of the Good Samaritan. Rev. Julie will look for ways God is breaking through our barriers to provide love, mercy and healing in her sermon, “A Holy Oxymoron.” Tim K. Murphy brings us this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections from Johann Sebastian Bach & The Bee Gees. Flute soloist, Chieko Chambers brings us this week’s Special Music & Offertory with music from Claude Debussy Christoph Willibald Gluck. Joe Pratt will light the Candle for Ukraine and read Gathering Words and scripture from Luke 10:25-37, New Revised Standard Version.
