We’re at the beginning of Lent, which for many Christians signals the most Holy season of the year.  Maybe in your childhood home there was a practice of giving up something desirable during these six weeks.  Maybe you didn’t eat meat on Fridays.  Maybe you just looked forward to candy peeps and Easter baskets with chocolate bunnies.
