In-Person/Live-Stream Worship: "Good News: Non-Violence for All"

  • Arlington Community Church 52 Arlington Avenue Kensington, CA, 94707 United States (map)

We welcome all people to worship and prayer, and to be with us on our journeys of faith formation; join us as we experience the Divine One through Creation, Creatures, and Creativity in our world and worship.

On this First Sunday of Lent we will begin exploring our series theme, "Good News...for All" beginning with the topic of non-violence. In the flood story in Genesis 9, God makes a covenant of non-violence with all of creation. As we follow Jesus' proclamation to "repent and believe in the good news," we are called to participate in bringing about a world of non-violence for all. Tim K. Murphy will lead us through this week’s Hymns & diverse musical selections for this week’s Prelude & Postlude. Music Director, Jeffrey Frederic Paul, will lead the ACC Choir & Bell Choir for this week’s Special Music & Offertory. Sara Laferte will be this week’s liturgist & light the Prayer Candles.
