This Sunday we will continue our sermon series, "Seeing Beyond," looking to the hope of our faith. We'll look at the story of the widow in 1 Kings 17 who had almost nothing left. What was thought to be the last meal of this widow and her son, when shared with Elijah in hope, became a life sustaining gift for all three. When all we can see is the end, God sees a beginning, and it often starts very small in a place where we would least expect.
Our Choir and Bell Choir will share Special Music this Sunday, led by Music Director Jeffrey Paul. Pianist Tim K. Murphy will provide the Prelude, Postlude, and accompaniment for this week's Hymns. Rev. Jen Chapman will preach and lead the service. Rachel Sing will be this week's Liturgist and Light the Prayer Candles.
