Please plan to stay after worship for the annual meeting. We’ll vote on new officers and approve a budget for 2024. If you are attending the service online, you will be able to vote at the meeting.
Our Annual Meeting this week will allow members present “in person” and on Zoom to vote. Voting will be on two major items of business:
· Candidates for positions on the governing Council
· Budget for 2024.
We’ll use raised hands for this “hybrid” meeting. Members attending via zoom will be visible to the congregation on screen (or at least to Linda who will manage on-line voting at the computer). If a person on Zoom wants to speak or has a question, they can speak. There is a possibility that sound might not be all that clear. Therefore, Linda will be monitoring the Zoom group, so if you have something to say she will convey your message to the rest of the people attending the meeting. The goal is to have all congregational members participate fully as possible in the meeting. We highly recommend watching the streamed Sunday service – at least toward the end, and switch yourself to Zoom as the beginning of the playing of the postlude. That will give you time to make your Zoom connection in time for the voting. The Zoom link will open at 11:00 even though the service may not be completely finished. The meeting will begin right after Worship. Faith will be checking in with Linda to see if members are ready in Zoom.
The Zoom link will be mailed to members a day ahead of the meeting. If you do not receive the email or have trouble getting in, call Linda Young.
Meeting packet materials, the Zoom Link and Linda Young's telephone number will be sent in a separate email only going to voting members on Sunday morning at 8 AM.
