This Sunday is the final week of our Food for Thought series on Jesus' parables from Matthew 13 and we're looking at two short parables, the mustard seed and the yeast. The Kingdom of Heaven starts small and grows big, but when it comes to mustard, the growth isn't always welcome. In fact, in many places mustard is considered an invasive weed! What does it look like for our world to be invaded with the reign of God? Tim K. Murphy will lead us through this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections from Howard Shore and Amanda McBroom. Guest musician, Russell Baker, will perform for this week’s Special Music & Offertory. Linda Young will light the candles for Ukraine and for those suffering from gun violence, as well as read Gathering Words & Scripture from Matthew 13:31-33, NRSVUE.
