On this special Pentecost Sunday Rev. Julie will consider the Holy Spirit coming to the disciples back then and also now to us individually and as a community in her reflection, “Rising Spirits.” Tim K. Murphy will lead us through this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections from Robert Schumann & John Coltrane. ACC Music Director, Jeffrey Frederic Paul will lead The ACC Choir and Bell Choir for this week’s Special Music & Offertory with selections from Lon Beery & Douglas E. Wagner. Eleanor & Nick Crump will light the candles for Ukraine, Syria, Turkey, and for those suffering from gun violence, as well as read Gathering Words & Scripture from Acts 2:1-4, New Revised Standard Version.
