A Special Congregational Meeting is called for Sunday, May 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM for the purpose of calling the Rev. Jennifer Chapman to be our Designated Term Pastor. Voting will be available online for members.
A “Meet and Greet Event” will be held on Saturday, May 20th in the Social Hall from 3:00-5:00 PM.
It is our hope that you will be able to attend both of these meetings.

Born in California and raised in Texas, Rev. Jennifer Chapman is happy to be living in the sunshine state! As the Intentional Faith Development Director at First UMC, Pastor Jen oversees the Christian education programs with a primary focus in ministry to children and youth and families. She is also the lead clergy person in a new initiative of FUMC to build relationships with our unhoused neighbors.

Jen is an engaging preacher, creative spirit, with a deep faith in the God who calls us to live in relationship with God, with each other, and with all creation.
