Jesus heals a man born blind and everyone around him struggles to understand how this could have happened. Jesus is revealed as the Messiah, bringing light to the world. How this affects us will be the focus of Sunday’s sermon “Opening Our Eyes.” Tim K. Murphy leads the ACC Ensemble through this week’s hymns and diverse musical selections from Jesse Manibusan, Mike Heron, Harold Arlen, & Ted Koehler. Elena Caruthers will light the candles for Ukraine, Syria, and Turkey as well a read Gathering Words & Scripture from John 9:1-12, New Revised Standard Version.
