Rev. Julie Stokstad begins a four part sermon series this Sunday based on Henri Nouwen’s book “Life of the Beloved”. These sermons aim to provide us ways to live fulfilling God’s purposes for us in our secular world. Each sermon is based on communion actions—-Taken, Blessed, Broken and Given. This week’s sermon is “Chosen by God.” Shanti Moorjani will lead us through this week’s hymns and diverse music selections from Francois-Joseph Gossec, Brian Wilson & Tony Asher. Interim Music Director, Joe Pratt, leads the ACC Bell Choir for this week’s Special Music and will perform an original composition “His Last Meal” for this week’s Offertory. Eleanor Crump will light the candles for Ukraine as well a read Gathering Words & Scripture from Matthew 3:16-17 & Matthew 26:26-28, New Revised Standard Version.
