During Lent this year, we will adopt the theme of Tikkun, or “repair.” As we begin a new year and a new presidential administration, we are hurting, both individually and as a country.

Tikkun olam is a Jewish phrase that translates into “repair, heal, or mend the world.” How can human beings participate in repair? Where is God in acts of repair and reparation?

In today's Bible study, we will focus on the Scriptural considerations of repair, both from the Old and New Testaments. We'll take a look at Leviticus' notion of "jubilee," and the story of Zacchaeus from Luke 19. Bring your own story or verse to add to the mix!
