Some things are easily connected.  Some things take a circuitous route.  For our September Memoir writing prompt, think about this:  describe an ordinary natural environment.  Is it something from your childhood, maybe a garden in your yard or a beautiful maple tree in full autumn color?  Maybe it is a peaceful view of the Bay with whitecaps on the surface.  Maybe it is the purr of a beloved cat curled on your lap.

Dig deeper if you can.  Why did you choose this to describe or write about?  Can you link this ordinary, natural environment with a special time or memory?
