Join Nate at the Junket in El Cerrito Plaza for a regular series. Over a beer or a soda, we’ll we talk about a topic related to currents events or the life of faith.
This month's topic: work. Over the course of your life, what has been your relationship to work -- has it been a chief source of meaning? Has it been a burden? Have you found yourself doing things (like caring for a child) that aren’t always counted as work? We live in a moment where many leaders and thinkers are reconsidering what work is. In our time together, we’ll take a look at some thought-provoking considerations of work, from Genesis to Martin Luther to Oscar Wilde, who said, “To do nothing at all is the most difficult thing in the world.”
